This is Daniel’s first solo show after graduating from University of Salford with a degree in Visual Arts, where he received a graduate scholarship at Hot Bed Press. Daniel combines Neo-Classical ideals with the glitch aesthetic. Reimagining sculpture, he uses the monochrome surface of sculptures and combines textures, patterns, and the colours of glitch image files to create contemporary digital images. These he renders as screen-print.
Daniel was nominated by Castlefield Art Gallery to show work at Technology: Past and Future, by Quays Culture. Polychrome is a continuation of this body of work.
